Configuring a Waiting Field
Important: Only available for operation on the PBXs COMpact 4410 USB, COMpact 5020 VoIP, COMpact 4000, COMpact 5000/R, COMpact 5200/R, COMpact 5500R and COMmander 6000/R/RX.
The waiting field is configured as described in the following:
Important: Only available for operation on the PBXs COMpact 5020 VoIP, COMpact 4000, COMpact 5000/R, COMpact 5200/R, COMpact 5500R and COMmander 6000/R/RX.
Note:
For operation on the PBXs COMpact 5020 VoIP, COMpact 4000, COMpact 5000/R, COMpact 5200/R, COMpact 5500R and COMmander 6000/R/RX, a group must be configured and selected as the waiting field reception in order to operate the waiting field with multiple waiting field receptions. The maximum number of waiting field receptions is limited by the number of possible group members.
For operation on the PBX COMpact 4410 USB, a max. of 1 waiting field reception is possible.
If multiple system telephones have been configured and enabled as waiting field receptions, multiple employees can operate the waiting field simultaneously. Incoming calls and waiting callers are then signalled in all the waiting field receptions. However, if someone is talking to a caller in one of the waiting field receptions, this caller is not signalled in the other waiting field receptions.

Note:
For operation on the PBX COMpact 4410 USB, each waiting field key is assigned to an S0 port.
For operation on the PBXs COMpact 5020 VoIP, COMpact 4000, COMpact 5000/R, COMpact 5200/R, COMpact 5500R and COMmander 6000/R/RX, each waiting field key is assigned to a bundle. A bundle can be either an S0 port, multiple bundled S0 ports, an S2M port or a VoIP account. After selecting the bundle, the keys are assigned dynamically. This offers the option of configuring only one key for an S0 port and only so many keys for an S2M port that can be processed at a time. If calls come in over a bundle, they are displayed on the associated available keys. If more multiple calls come in over a bundle than there are keys available, they are not displayed until a key becomes available.
The number of possible waiting field keys depends on the number of existing external lines/B-channels and therefore the maximum possible number of simultaneous callers (see Advanced Information of the PBX).

Important: Only available for operation on the PBXs COMpact 5020 VoIP, COMpact 4000, COMpact 5000/R, COMpact 5200/R, COMpact 5500R and COMmander 6000/R/RX. For operation on the PBX COMpact 4410 USB, internal calls, alarm calls and door calls to the waiting field reception telephone are only possible if there are no external callers in the waiting field.
