Transferring Telephone Numbers from the PBX Telephone Book into the Telephone Book on a DECT System Telephone
The telephone numbers with their corresponding names entered in the telephone book can be transmitted into a COMfortel DECT mobile handset.
The transmission can be carried out as follows:

Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
– Expert view (click )
– Entries in the telephone book

1.
Open the page USER DATA > Telephone book.
2.
Select or clear the DECT check boxes for the telephone book entries in question for the internal telephone numbers assigned to the mobile handset.

Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Note:
Up to 140 (COMfortel DECT 900) or 250 (COMfortel DECT 900C) phonebook entries may be transferred to a handset. A COMfort DECT handset can store a certain number of telephone book entries (depending on the software version of the mobile part) (see column header 0 / 250 Entries or 0 / 140 Entries. The actual number is updated as soon as the handset was properly configured and registered and a data transfer has been started.
Also indicated in the column header is the available number of entries at the time after the last transfer.

Telephone numbers that were manually entered into the handset will not be overwritten by the web server. That means these telephone numbers can only be changed or deleted manually.
The configuration manager uses the memory entries only that have not been defined manually. Entries that were defined via the configuration manager, will be overwritten by the configuration manager.
If more telephone numbers have been selected in the column Max. entries /Free entries than available in the memory of the handset (e. g. if telephone book have been entered manually after the read-out of data), telephone numbers are transferred into the mobile part until all the memory locations are filled. The telephone numbers with lower short-code dial numbers are transferred first.
As soon as the data transfer has started, the PBX starts to distribute the assigned telephone book entries to the corresponding handsets. If a handset is currently not ready for the data transfer (switched off, impossible to reach or in a call), the PBX will try the next handset after a few minutes until all data has been distributed.
COMfortel DECT: The handset is not reachable during a data transfer (duration 2 minutes max.) and there is "Copying from PBX" in the display.
COMfort DECT: During the data transfer (duration app. 3 minutes) you should not phone on the concerning telephone. On the handset this is displayed as "Transfer ... Please Wait".
If the same telephone numbers have to be transferred into the telephone number book of several COMfortel DECT handsets, these telephone numbers have to be selected for a single COMfortel DECT 900/900C handset only. This handset is the source for the other telephones that should to receive these telephone numbers (see CONFIGURATION > Internal numbers > ISDN subscribers > DECT Settings).
