Shutting Down and Restarting the Telephone

The telephone can be switched into the idle state. It can also be restarted when required.

Proceed as follows:

Using the telephone

Tap on

> Settings > System > Shutdown/Reboot.

Select one of the following options:

Cancel: cancels the operation.

Restart: restarts the telephone.

Shutdown: shuts down the telephone.

Note: After you have shut down the telephone as described above, it goes into idle state, but continues to use power. To save electricity, you can shut it down completely by removing the PoE cable. To restart the telephone after a shutdown, remove and reinsert the PoE cable once.
