Permissions
You can protect the telephone against unauthorised use by configuring permissions for making settings and using functions.
The telephone can be accessed on three authorisation levels:
Administrator: The function is only available to administrators.
Sub-administrator: The function is available to sub-administrators and administrators
None: No lock, the function is available to users, sub-administrators and administrators.
Important: The permission settings are only accessible if you are logged in as administrator. If no sub-administrator or administrator is configured on the telephone, users can make all settings and use all functions.
When the telephone is operated on the PBX, the passwords for administrator and sub-administrator are preset by the PBX. Manual settings will be overwritten by the PBX.
