Select Wallpaper
The factory settings of the telephone already include a variety of wallpapers. A wallpaper with the name DEFAULT.jpg is loaded as default.
Proceed as follows:

Press the Menu key and open the menu settings > display > wallpaper.

Transferring Wallpapers from PC to SD Card
You can add your own wallpapers to the selection already included in the factory settings. Pictures in the *.jpg file format with 320 x 240 pixels can be used as wallpapers. To this end, they must be saved in the CF1400\PICTURES directory of the SD card.
Proceed as follows:
 
Requirements:
 
To transfer wallpapers saved on your computer to the SD card on your telephone. Proceed as follows.
1.
Open the page Answering machine > Data exchange.
When you open this page for the first time, a dialogue for reading out the directory structure on the SD card opens.

Click Yes.
The directory structure on the SD card is read out and then displayed under SD card.

Under PC, select the file in the directory tree that you want to transfer to the SD card.
Note:
You can also transfer multiple files to the SD card at the same time.
If you let the cursor hover over a file for a few seconds, a tool tip automatically opens with information about the corresponding file.

The data is transferred to the SD card.
Transferring Wallpapers from SD Card to PC
Proceed as follows:
 
Requirements:
 
To transfer a wallpaper saved on the SD card on your telephone to your PC. Proceed as follows.
Note: Please bear in mind that the wallpapers supplied in the factory settings are protected by licences.
1.
Open the page Answering machine > Data exchange.
When you open this page for the first time, a dialogue for reading out the directory structure on the SD card opens.

Click Yes.
The directory structure on the SD card is read out and then displayed under SD card.
2.
Select the file in the directory tree under SD card that you want to transfer to the PC.
Note:
You can also transfer multiple files to the PC at the same time.
If you let the cursor hover over a file for a few seconds, a tool tip automatically opens with information about the corresponding file.
 
3.
Select the target directory in the directory tree under PC, into which the file from the SD card is to be copied.
Note:
If you want to refresh the directory tree under PC, click .
If you want to create a new directory in the directory tree under PC, click .
If you want to select a different root directory in the directory tree under PC, click . Select the desired directory and click Open (this text is dependent on the operating system used).

The data is transferred to the PC.
Delete Wallpapers from SD Card/PC
Proceed as follows:
 
Requirements:
 
To delete a wallpaper that is saved on your SD card or PC. Proceed as follows.
1.
Open the page Answering machine > Data exchange.
When you open this page for the first time, a dialogue for reading out the directory structure on the SD card opens.

Click Yes.
The directory structure on the SD card is read out and then displayed under SD card.

Note: You can also delete multiple files at one time.

Click Yes.
The data is deleted.
