Note: To make multi-account settings in the e-mail app, tap on Paramètres généraux above the account list and make the settings.

Tap on Nom du compte and enter a name for the account in the entry field. The account name appears in the account list.

Tap on My name and enter a name in the entry field. The name is displayed as the sender for outgoing messages.

Only for POP3/IMAP accounts: Tap on Signature and enter a signature in the entry field. The signature is added to outgoing messages.

Only for Exchange ActiveSync accounts: Tap on Extent of synchronisation and select the time period during which e-mails are to be retrieved by the server from the list field.

Enable the Définir le compte comme compte par défaut check box to define the account as the default account for outgoing e-mails.

Tap on Inbox check frequency and make a selection in the list field to specify how frequently e-mails are to be retrieved from the server.

Select the E-mail notifications check box to enable notification in the status line when e-mails arrive.

Only if e-mail notification is switched on: Tap on Sonnerie and select a ringtone for notifications from the list field.

Tap on Paramètres de réception and make the settings for the incoming mail server.

Only for POP3/IMAP accounts: Tap on Paramètres d'envoi and make the settings for the outgoing mail server.

Only for Exchange ActiveSync accounts: Select the Synchroniser les contacts andSync calendars check boxes to enable the synchronisation of contacts and calendars.
