Entry and Selection Fields

An empty entry field normally provides an opportunity for you to enter a name or number.

Tap on the entry field and enter the text.

Notes:

Any text already present in the entry field is overwritten by the text you input.

Under

> Paramètres > PERSONNEL > Langue et saisie > Dictionnaire personnel you find a dictionary in which you can enter the words you use frequently. These words can then appear as suggestions when you are entering text.

To change an existing entry, select the entry you want to edit. Tap on Éditer and select one of the following options:

Tout sélectionner: Selects the entire text in the entry field.

•

Couper: Cuts the selected text.

•

copier: Copies the selected text.

•

Coller: Inserts the copied text at the insertion mark.

To input a network address, tap on the entry field and use the keypad to enter a network address.

Some functions have list fields, in which you can choose from the available options. The selected setting is displayed in the list field. Tap on the list field to display the options.

Some functions have radio button,s in which you can choose different settings. The selected setting is marked by coloured dot.

Tap on an option to enable it. The previous selection is disabled at the same time.

Use the check boxes to enable or disable the settings and functions. An empty check box means "off", a symbol (e.g. check, X)in th check box means "on".

Tap on the check box to enable or disable the setting or function.

Use the sliders to make infinitely variable settings (e.g. volume). The position of the slider identifies where the setting is.

Drag the slider to the left to reduce the value. Drag the slider to the right to increase the value.

Use the toggle button to enable or disable the function.

Drag the toggle button onto "ON" to enable the function.

Drag the toggle button onto "OFF" to disable the function. Alternatively, tap on "ON" or "OFF" to enable or disable the function.
