Using the Configuration Manager (page Impostazioni > COMfortel > E-mail)

There are several language templates available for e-mails that are sent by the answering machine. These language templates include different text elements (boilerplates) which are used to create the e-mails. The language templates are in *.xml file format.

Modello lingua

Definito dall’utente The user-defined language template is automatically created in the language used by the Configuration Manager. The user-defined language template has the boilerplates described above, in the relevant language, and can be configured by the user.

Importa modello lingua

Requirements:

A language template (*.xml) saved on a data storage device (PC)

Notes:

The language template you import overwrites the user-defined language template in the telephone.

The file structure of the imported language template must match the file structure of the user-defined language template. For this reason, you should export the user-defined language template to your PC. Edit the text fields in the language template without changing the structure of the *.xml file. After you have imported the language template, your updates are displayed in the user-defined language template.

Select and save the language template. Subsequently, it will be displayed under Gestione modello lingua as user-defined.

View language template

To view the individual boilerplates of a language template (language), mark the corresponding line in the table under Gestione modello lingua, select a boilerplate in the list field in the middle of the line and then click

Visualizza.

Configuring user-defined language template

To configured the individual boilerplates of a user-defined language template, mark the corresponding line in the table under Gestione modello lingua, select a boilerplate in the list field in the middle of the line and then click

Configura.

Note: The boilerplates used to create the language template are displayed in the left-hand column of the dialogue. You can make your changes in the right-hand column.

Exporting language templates

The language templates can be exported to configure it centrally, for example, and then import it into several telephones.

Mark the corresponding line in the table under Gestione modello lingua and then click

Esporta.

Note: The language template will be exported entirely. Therefore, it is not necessary to specifically select a boilerplate.

Importa logo

Requirements:

•

A logo (*.jpg) saved on a data storage device (PC)

Notes:

The logo must be provided in *.jpg file format and must be 160 x 60 pixels (width x height) in size.

The maximum permitted file size for a logo is 50 kB. The memory for all logos is limited to 500 kB.

If you do not import your own logo, the logo supplied with the system will be used instead.

Select and save the logo.

Note: To delete an imported logo, click Elimina under Elimina logo.

Outgoing e-mail server

Mittente

Enter the sender‘s e-mail address.

Indirizzo

Enter the address of the SMTP outgoing e-mail server (server or IP address). You can obtain the address of the outgoing e-mail server from your e-mail provider or you can read it up in the Internet.

Porta

Enter the port number of the outgoing e-mail server. You can obtain the port number from your e-mail provider or read it up in the Internet.

Tipo di autenticazione

Select the authentication type that is required from the e-mail server.

Nessuna autenticazione: Authentication is not performed.

•

Nome utente/password: Authentication is performed with the username and password.

•

MD5 challenge-response: Authentication is performed with an MD5 challenge-response. This means the password is not transferred in plain (unencrypted) text.

Nome utente/password as selected authentification type

Enter the username. In most cases, the complete e-mail address of the sender must be entered. You will obtain further information about this from your e-mail provider.

Password

Requirements:

Nome utente/password was selected as authentification type

Enter the authentication password. It is the password of the sender‘s e-mail account.

Crittografia

Nessuna crittografia: Switches encryption off.
