Configuring the Telephone Remotely with ARA Server via the Internet
Requirements:
•
Computer with existing connection to the Internet (DSL)
•
Telephone with existing connection to the Internet (DSL)
•
Knowledge of the serial number of the telephone
•
Set external PIN
•
Configured remote switching number
•
Knowledge of user name and password for the Configuration Manager
•
Enabled (Auerswald) Remote Access (can be enabled by pressing #272 (ARA) on the telephone)
 
1.
Start a browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox).
2.
In the browser's address field, enter https://remote-access.auerswald.de.
3.
Enter the data in the User name/Customer number and Password/PIN input fields, and click Login.
4.
Register the telephone if this has not been done yet.
a)
Click .
b)
In the Serial number entry field, enter the serial number of the telephone.
c)
Make further entries for the data record and click Save.
5.
Click .
6.
Log in to the Configuration Manager.
7.
Make the desired changes.
8.
Log out from the Configuration Manager.
9.
Click in the user interface of the ARA server.
