Settings Address Book Transmission for DECT Handsets
Proceed as follows:
Using the Configuration Manager (page Données des utilisateurs > Carnets d’adresses > Contacts et affectation)
Requirements:
Base station COMfortel DECT IP1040 operated on the PBX
COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handsets
For users: read access for those contact groups whose entries are to be transmitted to the phone books of the handsets
Configured password for the access via COMfortel DECT IP1040
Using the Configuration Manager (page Données des utilisateurs > Carnets d’adresses > Paramètres)
*Note: The access with other passwords (e. g. the admin password) is not recommended, as the password is sent unencrypted by the COMfortel DECT IP1040. The access must be configured in the Configuration Manager of the COMfortel DECT IP1040 (page Network/PBX > Additional Servers under Phonebook).
Configured Téléphone dédié DECT or IP DECT system phone
Using the Configuration Manager (page Abonnés (Abo) > Numéros de téléphone)
Contact groups of the type COMfortel DECT 900 Handsets and/or COMfortel DECT 900C Handsets in the address books
The phone numbers with their corresponding names entered in the address books can be transmitted into one or more COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handsets.
*Note: Up to 140 (COMfortel DECT 900) or 250 (COMfortel DECT 900C) phonebook entries may be transferred to a handset.
Phone numbers that were manually entered into the handset will not be overwritten by the Configuration Manager. That means these phone numbers can only be changed or deleted manually.
The Configuration Manager only uses the memory locations that have not been defined manually. Entries that were defined using the Configuration Manager, will be overwritten by the Configuration Manager.
If more phone numbers have been selected than available in the memory locations of the handset, phone numbers are transmitted to the handset until all the memory locations are filled. The phone numbers with lower short-code dial numbers are transferred first.
*Note: As soon as the changes on the page Données des utilisateurs > Carnets d’adresses > Droits de groupe de contacts have been saved, the PBX starts to distribute the assigned entries to the corresponding handsets until all memory cells have been filled. If a handset is currently not ready for the data transfer (switched off, impossible to reach or in a call), the PBX will try the next handset after a few minutes until all data has been distributed.
*Note: The handset is not reachable during a data transfer (duration 2 minutes max.) and there is "Copying from PBX" in the display.
*Note: At an IKON DECT 1020, UTF-8 charachters cannot be used in the name field of the phone book entries.
