Exchange Line Request/Exchange Line Access Number
Proceed as follows:
Using the Configuration Manager (page Réseaux publics > Indicatif)
*Note: Some of the following settings can also be configured seperately for connections/accounts.
Indicatif automatique au niveau du système
Requirements:
Emergency call only with disabled exchange line access number
Using the Configuration Manager (on the following pages)
Réseaux publics > Appels d’urgence
The PBX automatically distinguishes for each subscriber between internal and external numbers by analysing the digit sequence and the adjustment of the dialled phone number with the internal dial plan.
*Note: When switched off, the exchange line request type can be set individually for each subscriber.
*Important: After a firmware update from an older firmware version to version 6.6, the system-wide automatic exchange line request is at first switched off. If the system-wide automatic exchange line request is switched on, you must note the following for the conversion of the existing phones:
*Note: COMfortel 600: For all phone numbers that are entered in the configuration of the phone (concerns speed dialling keys and phone book), possibly entered exchange line access numbers or ** (initiation of internal numbers in the direct exchange line phone) must be deleted.
*Note: COMfortel 1100/1500/2500 /2500 AB/2500 VoIP AB: For the call forwarding variation „for external numbers“ the exchange line accessnumber preceding the destination number must be deleted or omitted.
Code d’accès à la ligne principale
Requirements:
Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
Automatic exchange line request disabled
Is required to request an external line (exception: direct exchange access and automatic exchange line request).
*Note: After you dial the exchange line access number, the external dial tone indicates that an external line is free. The external telephone number can then be dialled.
*Note: The factory setting for the exchange line access number on the PBX is 0, but this number is not effective at first because automatic exchange line request is active in the factory settings.
*Note: Changing the exchange line access number is only meaningful if another exchange line access number is normally used (e.g., in England).
*Note: Note that changing the exchange line access number restricts the dial plan.
