Configuring the Function Key for PBX Functions via the Configuration Manager
Thefunction key on a COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handset can be assigned to up to ten programming functions on the PBX.
Proceed as follows:
•Using the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
•On the internal S0 port connected COMfortel DECT 900 Base
•COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handsets
•Configured and assigned internal numbers for the COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handsets
1.Open the page Abonnés (Abo) > COMfortel DECT.
2.Base DECT: Select the DECT base in the list field.
3.In the line of the desired handset, click define keys.
4.Fonction: Select one of the following options from the first list field:
---: Enables any function to be entered.
[Function]: Assigns the selected function to the key.
Designation and Tmpl. for the programming function : When a function is selected, these fields are preset accordingly.
5.Designation: Enter a name for the button in the entry field or change the default name if necessary.
Note: The name is shown on the display after pressing the function key on a COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handset.
6.Tmpl. for the programming function : Enter a programming function of the PBX in the entry field or replace the placeholders of the given programming function. Possible entries:
Numbers and the characters * and #
UserPIN: Requires user PIN to be entered
IdentNumber: Requires the identification number to be entered
CW: Requires a short-code dialing number or external telephone number to be entered
MSN,MSN/DDI: Requires your own external telephone numbers to be entered
Numéro de téléphone: Requires an external number to be entered
Abonné: Requires an internal subscriber number to be entered
Subscriber/group: Requires an internal subscriber number/internal number of a line group to be entered
Note: The character strings for the programming functions are listed in this manual under "Configuring and Operating Functions".
7.Repeat step 4 to 6 to assign the function key with additional PBX functions.
8.Click Enregistrer.
9.Repeat step 2 to 6 to configure the function key for an additional mobile handset.
Note: The function key of a mobile handset can be copied into other mobile handsets (Touches de fonction > Copier les touches).
Note: The PBX begins to distribute the data to the mobile handsets in question. If a handset is currently not ready for the data transfer (switched off, impossible to reach or in a call), the PBX will try the next handset after a few minutes until all data has been distributed. The handset is not reachable during a data transfer (duration 2 minutes max.) and there is "Copying from PBX" in the display.
