Connecting a Door Terminal System in Accordance with FTZ 123 D12-0
Warning: Power surges, which can occur during electrical storms, can cause life-threatening electric shocks or damage or destroy the PBX.
•Hire a qualified electrician to lay the cables within the building.
Note: You will find wiring diagrams for the connection of different door terminal systems to the PBX on the Internet (see Auerswald: Auerswald Service Portal, FONtevo: FONtevo Support).
Requirements:
•Installation cable (e. g. J-Y(St)Y 2x2x0.6) with the following characteristics:
−At least three wires
−Unscreened; however: screened for unfavourable conditions, for example, near a strong transmitter or an electrical power line
•Door terminal system from Auerswald/FONtevo: Operating voltage switched on at the relay contact to be used
2TSM Modul:
2TSM-R-Modul:
1.Lay the line.
2.Connect the TS11 terminal (or TS21) to the operating voltage input of your door terminal system (e. g. labelled V or DC/AC).
3.Connect the TGnd terminal to the ground connection input of your door terminal system (e. g. labelled 0V or GND).
4.Connect the TNF1 terminal (or TNF2) to the low-frequency input/output of your door terminal system (e. g. labelled NF).
Further steps:
•To finish commissioning, you need to configure the COMmander 2TMS (R) module in the Configuration Manager and set up the corresponding door terminal.
