Performing a Restart Immediately by Pressing a Button
Warning: Touching voltage-carrying conductors or phone connections can cause life-threatening electric shocks.
•For some installation and maintenance work, it is necessary to open the PBX while it is in operation (qualified electrician only). Make sure that the PBX is never left unattended while working with an open casing. Close the casing after completing this work.
•Only a qualified electrician may perform installation work within an open casing or service work using the buttons inside the casing. If necessary, commission a specialised dealer to perform this work.
Warning: Power surges, which can occur during electrical storms, can cause life-threatening electric shocks and damage or destroy the PBX.
•Do not open the PBX during an electrical storm.
1.Press the Reset button (for COMmander 6000 on the base circuit board; for COMmander 6000R/6000RX at the front of casing).
The Power LED lights up/flashes in red and orange for up to two minutes.
When the Power LED lights up in green again, the restart is complete and the PBX is ready for operation.
Note: If the
Power LED remains continuously lit in red, an error has occurred. Please contact your dealer or the manufacturer directly.
