Exchange Line Settings
Proceed as follows:
•Separately for subscribers
•Using the Configuration Manager
•Subscriber-related (Subscriber (scr.) > Properties)
SUBSCRIBER
Select the subscriber you want to display/configure.
•Function-related (Subscriber (scr.) > Function overview)
Configure
Opens the configuration of the single function for all subscribers.
Important: The settings done are only valid on the condition that they are not overridden by a profile. The simultaneous display takes place only on page
Subscriber (scr.) > Properties under
Overridden by profile in configuration.
Note: [Name configuration] ...: In the displayed configuration, the function is overridden by the displayed setting. Configuration using the Configuration Manager (
Subscriber (scr.) > Profiles > ...)
Note: not overridden by a profile: The function is currently not overridden by a profile.
Note: (not profile-controlled): The function can not be overridden by a profile.
Requirements:
•For differently configurable functions for private and business calls: function activated

Exchange line authorisation - business | Expert / Exchange line authorisation - private calls | Expert
Defines which kind of phone numbers may be dialled with a subscriber.
International
All international and domestic telephone numbers can be dialled.
National
All domestic telephone numbers can be dialled.
City
All telephone numbers without a provider area code can be dialled.
Note: If GSM access is used for an outgoing call, the PBX automatically dials the telephone number with the configured area code (national destination code).
Only incoming
Incoming external calls can be accepted.
Only internal
No external calls can be made/answered.
exchange line dependent
The exchange line authorisation is configured separately for each individual external connection via Expert .
Preventing emergency calls
Emergency calls cannot be made. The subscriber hears a corresponding announcement. This function is for example useful for remote extensions as the emergency call is issued at the location of the PBX and not at the location of the remote extension.
Call restrictor - (outgoing) business calls
Call restrictor - (outgoing) private calls
Requirements:
•Configured call restrictor
−Using the Configuration Manager (User data > Special numbers page)
The subscriber can not dial the phone numbers entered in the call restrictor irrespective of his exchange line authorisation. So it restricts the exchange line authorisation.
Call deblocker - (outgoing) business calls
Call deblocker - (outgoing) private calls
Requirements:
•Configured call deblocker
−Using the Configuration Manager (User data > Special numbers page)
The subscriber can dial the phone numbers entered in the call deblocker irrespective of his exchange line authorisation. So it extends the exchange line authorisation.
Phone book authorisation - business calls
Phone book authorisation - private calls
Requirements:
•At least the exchange line authorisation Only internal, with emergency call
•Configured contact group Phone book version 1
−Using the Configuration Manager (User data > Address books page)
The subscriber can dial the phone numbers entered in the contact group Phone book version 1 irrespective of his exchange line authorisation. So it extends the exchange line authorisation.
Preferred exchange line - business calls|Expert/Preferred exchange line - private calls|Expert
Defines via which exchange line outgoing external calls will be routed.
Automatic occupation
For outgoing external calls, any available connection is used, whereby first the fixed network connections and then the VoIP connection and at last the GSM connections were taken into account.
Special preferred exchange lines
For outgoing external calls, the connections released under Expert are used depending on the selected priority. This makes the definition of a preferred exchange line (priority = 1) with overflow to other connections (priority > 1) possible. Exchange lines with priority No automatic occupation
Number presentation - (outgoing) business | Expert / Number presentation - (outgoing) private | Expert
Defines which phone number is presented.
No announcement
The phone number is suppressed.
Default
Both the DDI parallel to the internal number and the MSN on the PTM connection over which the subscriber is called are presented on the PTMP connection. (if the subscriber is not a member of the call distribution for this connection, the first MSN is presented).
exchange line dependent
The phone number to be presented is configured separately for each external connection under Expert .
Note: On a connection with a GSM gateway, the phone number presentation configured in the PBX is not used because the actual phone number presentation is directly configured in the individual GSM gateway.
Note: On a connection with
CLIP no screening enabled, the number presentation defined here is not considered.
Note: Notes for suppressing number presentation Note: Phone number suppression for VoIP calls is possible but it is not always supported by the providers.
Note: If an emergency number is called while phone number suppression is enabled, phone number suppression is disabled once so that the emergency service can identify the caller.
Note: If the number presentation only needs to be suppressed call by call, the
Number presentation (outgoing) Default or
exchange line dependent . For the
exchange line dependent option, each exchange line can have an individual number presented to the network provider or to the caller separately. The number presentation to the caller is suppressed by the phone before starting a call. The number presentation to the network provider is not suppressed by the phone.
Note: If the number presentation should always be suppressed, the
Number presentation (outgoing) exchange line dependent . For each exchange line can a separate number be presented to the network provider. To keep these numbers from being presented to the caller, number presentation can be suppressed per exchange line separately.
Note: If number presentation needs to be suppressed between the PBX and the network provider, the
Number presentation (outgoing) No announcement .
Note: For the option
No announcement , the phone service
Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR2) must be released by the network provider.
Phone number presentation - incoming | Expert
Defines which phone number is presented back to the caller.
No announcement
The phone number is suppressed.
Default
Both the DDI parallel to the internal number and the MSN on the PTM connection over which the subscriber is called are presented on the PTMP connection.
