Using an Internal or External Phone (Remote Access) to Operate and Query a Voice Mailbox
The voice messages of a voice mailbox can be queried by means of an internal or external phone (remote access). Using various announcements, the caller is guided through the query menu. Besides accessing the messages, it is also possible to operate (e.g. switch on and off) the voice mailbox via phone.
Requirements:
Imported voice file (*.fs)
Knowledge of the PIN for accessing the corresponding voice mailbox remotely
DTMF dialing support on the external telephone
1.Call the voice mailbox.
*Note: Remote access is also possible with disabled readiness of a voice mailbox. External calls will be accepted after a waiting time of at least 50 seconds (50 seconds or Delay time for CF on no reply + 10 seconds if longer than 50 seconds).
2.Dial * and then the user PIN or the PIN for remote access and #.
*Note: If the internal phone used for the query is the owner of the voice mailbox, it is not necessary to enter a user PIN or remote access PIN.
Various announcements lead you through the remote access menu.
