Configuring the PBX Remotely via the Internet (without (Auerswald) Remote Access Server)
Requirements:
Internet connection between the computer and the PBX
Permanent external IP address, or the use of VPN or DynDNS
A router configured for this purpose
Knowledge of user name and password for the Configuration Manager
Knowledge of the configured port of the web server
* Note: Refer to the operating manual of your router.
* Note: The access is possible via http: and via https: (encrypted access). If the option Force HTTPS connection has been enabled, only the https connection can be used. In this case, a port you selected yourself must be rerouted to port 443 of the PBX (access with https://mein.dyndns.org:[Port], for example.
* Important: Make sure that no simple passwords have been assigned for all access options, as these pose a security risk.

1.Start a browser.
2.Enter https:// and the external IP address for the PBX as well as the : character, and then the port, into the address field of the browser.
3.Enter your user name and password.
4.Click OK.
5.Make the desired changes.
