Number presentation
With the number presentation (outgoing), it is possible to select the number presented to the partner called. A different number may be presented for a business or a private call or for a call as a member of a group (logged into the group as outgoing).
The suppression of the number presentation (outgoing) can prevent the presentation of your own number to the partner called (anonymous call). This feature allows you to decide before starting a call if the number should be presented to the partner called or not. The number from your own connection can still be transmitted to the network provider so that the charges can be calculated correctly.
The number presentation (incoming) lets you present the actual number reached to the incoming caller. The number presented back to you may be one of the numbers from the exchange line connection reached. This number may be different than the number actually dialled by the caller. This is useful if, for example, another subscriber takes the call via pick-up or call forwarding is active. The number to be presented back may also be suppressed (COLR).
For outgoing calls from a call list of a system telephone COMfortel 1400 IP/2600 IP/3600 IP or COMfortel 1200/1400/1600/2600 (ISDN) the phone number that originally received the incoming call is always transmitted. It is therefore not the phone number of the subscriber who received this call through active call forwarding that is transmitted.
With the number presentation (internal) for group calls, it is possible to select the number which is presented when a subscriber makes an internal call as a group member.
