Activation

Basic equipment

The following functions/resources that can be activated are already available in the PBX:

•4 (COMpact 5200/R) or 8 (COMpact 5500R) VoIP channels for internal IP and Internet telephony (SIP-compliant in accordance with RFC 3261)

•Support of VoIP Codecs G.711, G.729, G.722, G.726, iLBC

•1 voice mail channel for voice mail functions with one voice mailbox

•10 Configurations

•18000 Call data records

•Project-related calls (project numbers)

•Call Through calls (Call Through for all lines)

•LAN-TAPI for 4 subscribers

•LCR for all subscribers

Important: Operating the PBX without system activation is not possible.

Important: Using the voice mail channel results in the loss of one VoIP channel.

Important: It is not possible to use the voice mail channel without inserted USB memory stick (not included in the scope of delivery).

Extension by activation

By chargeable activation in the Auerswald/FONtevo Online Shop, the PBX can be extended by the following functions/resources:

•System activation

•Auerswald hotel function for all subscribers

•LAN-TAPI for all subscribers

•Automatic receptions

•COMpact 5200/R: 4 additional VoIP, voicemail and fax channels (maximum of 16)

•COMpact 5500/R: 8 additional VoIP, voicemail and fax channels (maximum of 32)

•20 additional voice mailboxes and fax boxes for subscribers and groups (maximum of 40)

•Support PBX Call Assist

•SIP convenience package/SIP convenience package brand plus(e. g. BLF, MWI) for VoIP end devices

•Convenience package D-series

•COMpact 5200/R: 6 additional VoIP exchange line channels (maximum of 20)

•COMpact 5200/R: 12 additional VoIP exchange line channels (maximum of 32)

•Call recording*

•Extended park positions*

•COMfortel SoftPhone

* Not available in all countries

Important: The system activation is mandatory for the operation of the PBX.

Note: The PBX Dongle required for the extension is part of the basic device.
