DNS Configuration
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration wizard (
> Network configuration)
> Network configuration)Permanent IP address from the APIPA address range
The PBX can be reached via the IP address 169.254.1.240, if
• it is directly connected to an individual computer which automatically receives its IP address.
• it is connected to a router that automatically assigns IP addresses.
Use own DNS server
Requirements:
• DHCP enabled
Despite the enabled DHCP client, the DNS server set here is used.
Note: When switched off, the PBX receives the DNS server address automatically from a DHCP server.
