Rack Mounting the PBX
Warning: Touching voltage-carrying conductors or telephone connections can cause life-threatening electric shocks.
•Mount the COMtrexx close of an earth wire (potential compensation bar of the house installation or protective earth conductor).
•Connect the device's earth connection with a connecting cable whose conductor diameter is at least 2.5 mm2 to the earth wire.
Warning: Any liquid that penetrates the casing can result in a life-threatening electric shock or can damage or destroy the telephone.
•Only operate the PBX in closed, dry rooms.
Warning: Overheating can damage or even destroy the device.
•Note the ambient temperature values indicated in the technical data.
•Make sure that heat produced by the device can be adequately vented into the environment. Do not install the system in a cabinet without adequate air circulation.
•Never cover the air vents of the casing.
Important: Mechanical loads and electro-magnetic fields can impair device operation.
•Avoid mechanical loads (e.g. vibrations).
•Avoid the vicinity of devices that emit electromagnetic fields or react sensitively to them (e.g. radio receivers, professional radio equipment, amateur radio equipment, mobile phones, DECT systems, etc.).
•Protect the device from dirt, excessive dust and condensation.
Requirements:
•4 screws
•connections close to the installation site:
−freely accessible Schuko socket
−connection socket/network of the network operator; for greater distances, fixed wiring between the units is necessary.
−earth wire (potential equalisation of the house installation or protective conductor)
1.Push the casing into the rack.
2.Secure the enclosure using four screws over the mounting brackets on the right and left.
