Creating a Virtual Machine under Microsoft Hyper-V
1.Start the Hyper-V Manager and initiate the creation of a new VM.
Action > New > Virtual Machine... > Continue
2.Make the following settings.
Specify Name and Location > Name : freely selectable name
Continue
Specify Generation > Generation 2 : select
Continue
Assign Memory > Startup memory : at least 4096 MB
Use Dynamic Memory for this virtual machine : deactivate
Continue
Configure Networking : adaptations to your personal network
Continue
Connect Virtual Hard Disk > Use an existing virtual hard disk > Search... > choose vhdx file
Continue
Finish
3.Open the settings of the newly created Virtual Machine.
Virtual Machines > Right click on the name > Settings…
4.Make the following settings:
Hardware > ...
Firmware : check the starting sequence. The hard disk must be at the beginning.
Security > Enable Secure Boot : deactivate
Processor > Number of virtual processors : 8 or the maximum available number
Processor > Virtual machine reserve (percentage) : for optimal call quality, reserve at least 2 of the above set virtual processors.
Examples:
with 8 virtual processors: 25 %
with 4 virtual processors: 50 %
Processor > Compatibility > Migrate to a physical computer with a different processor version : deactivate
*Note: If a second network interface is to be used, a second network card must be set up for this purpose.

Integration Services > Time synchronization : deactivate
Integration Services > Guest services : optional
Checkpoints > Use automatic checkpoints : deactivate
*Note: If you need automatic checkpoints, then set them up manually so that they are only used outside of the usage time.
OK
*Note: If using locally, set the bridge mode.
5.Start the created virtual machine.
Virtual Machines > Right click on the name > Connect > Start
A console opens.
At the end of the start-up process, the IP address via which the COMtrexx can be reached is displayed.
