Creating a Virtual Machine under Oracle VM VirtualBox

1.Start Oracle VM VirtualBox and import a new VM.

−Double-click the ova file or

−File >

Import Appliance... >

> choose ova file > Open > Continue

−Import

2.Make adjustments to your personal network if necessary.

Edit > Network

−Attached to: Bridged Adapter recommended

−OK

Note: If a second network interface is to be used, a second network adapter must be set up for this purpose.

3.Start the created virtual machine.

Start

A console opens.

Note: Do not close the console, as closing it will stop the virtual machine.

At the end of the start-up process, the IP address via which the COMtrexx can be reached is displayed.
