School
For a school, the PBX offers various functions for shorter communication channels between teachers, parents, students and the caretaker. Students do not have to remain unsupervised in the classroom while the teacher has to leave the classroom to use the phone.
Emergencies can be communicated more quickly.
Block- and allowlists can be set up for phones in the classroom so that only certain numbers can be reached.
For example, announcements can be made via phone or a loudspeaker system to notify the school paramedics.
Accessible in the house, on the premises and on the go
The integration of DECT base stations and telephones enables mobility anywhere in the building. This means that the caretaker can be reached at any time throughout the entire site.
The PBX has even more options for mobile telephony and mobile availability.
The message forwarding function alerts the user when messages are received in the voice mailbox so they can return the call, at any time.
Use the Call forwarding function to redirect calls (e.g. when the class goes on an excursion).
Priority for emergency calls
The emergency priority circuit gives calls to the configured emergency numbers priority over all other calls. If required, a call can be interrupted to enable an emergency call.
Create block- and allowlists for phones in classrooms
Block- and allowlists are created for system-wide usage and are assigned to users, groups or special functions.
Announcements in all classrooms, the break hall and the playground
The InterCom function enables announcements from every internal phone to be made to phones that support this function, such as COMfortel D-series or COMfortel M-series (DECT) phones. Alternatively, loudspeaker announcements can be made via a loudspeaker or an active loudspeaker unit.
