The current Version 2.4
New or revised features published with this release are listed here.
InterCom
The maximum length of an InterCom connection has been extended from 2 to 5 minutes. The connection can be terminated by hanging up or ends automatically after 5 minutes.
LDAP
Internal telephones can now access an external LDAP server via the COMtrexx used as an LDAP proxy.
•Administration > Network > Server service > LDAP proxy
Logging
The debug log can now be created directly via the network trace without the use of Wireshark. The network trace also records any existing second network interfaces.
Provisioning / Update
Telephones of the COMfortel D-series now are supplied with updates from the update server even without their own Internet access. For this purpose, the update via the COMtrexx was added as an update server URL in the provisioning template of the COMfortel D-series telephones. In individually created provisioning files, this change must be transferred manually. However, if this change is not to be made, for example because a separate update server is used for the telephones, an individual provisioning file with a customised update server URL may need to be created for this purpose.
Ringer
An alternative can now be configured for the exchange line replacement tone if the previous exchange line replacement tone was perceived as annoying.
•Exchange lines > Providers and Accounts > Configure provider > RTP > Use the exchange line replacement tone
Synchronisation with a Google account
Improved security when synchronising with a Google account. For certain requests when synchronising with a Google account, the COMtrexx now requires access to the Auerproxy server. Make sure that the address and port are reachable.
TAPI communications
Improved security with TAPI communications. By specifying the IP address with which TAPI communication is permitted, access by unknown applications can now be prevented.
•Administration > Network > Server service > LAN TAPI > IP address of TSP-Clients
